Halo Infinite will finally launch in fall 2021
The highly anticipated Halo Infinite will officially launch in fall 2021. The game’s announcement was made by developers 343 Industries via a blog post.
Halo Infinite was originally slated to launch alongside the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in November of this year, but has been postponed to the August 2021 party due to “challenges created by the Covid-19 pandemic.”
However, since Microsoft did not specify the month of its launch, the fall 2021 window roughly means Halo Infinite is delayed by almost a year from its original release date.
Microsoft demonstrated Halo Infinite at the Xbox Series X Games Showcase in July of this year and received criticism for the visuals and graphics shown during the demo.
The developers of Halo Infinite 343 Industries wrote in their blog that they are working hard to create the best looking Halo game of all time and that they spend time immersing themselves in the graphics in particular.
According to Joseph Staten, the Creative Director, it’s already possible to play through the entire campaign on Halo Infinite, but there is still work to be done on fine-tuning things, fixing bugs and also working on the multiplayer functionality.
